A super-loving, sweet & totally generous couple surrounded by incredible family and friends in one big loved-up, beautifully light & hidden away highland coo's cathedral shed. What an absolutely charming and authentic celebration of love between 2 people and the community that surrounds them. Coo's Cathedral is one extra special place for a wedding too.
A sunny, windy day, a moody & atmospheric forest, a treehouse, a beautiful old tent & a golden cornfield. There's not much more you could want from a wedding location. The amazing Harvest Moon really did not disappoint when it came to capturing this wedding day! The lovely Amy of Lace Buds married her beau Graham in the most intimate & beautiful service in the woods. Everyone chipped in to help the day go smoothly which is the loveliest thing to see. Confetti was tossed, amazing food by Scoop was served & drinking & dancing followed to the wee hours. All the little touches and d.i.y's combined with the funniest & friendliest group of folks made this one of favourite days we've ever had to honour to document.

Armed with our cameras and dog Bertie we went on a road trip down to the lovely quaint seaside town of Portsmouth to capture Leila and Pete's wedding day celebrations. Here are some of our favourites from the day, and what a day it was!
Zoe and Phil got married at at The Old Finsbury Town Hall & celebrated at The Roost just round the corner from their home in Dalston. Zoe made her own red lace dress, the most downright gorgeous we’ve ever photographed. The kind of love shown between these two & shared with their family & friends was totally contagious. We utterly loved this wedding.
Apologies in advance for the gigantic blog post but you'll see why.
This was our first wedding of the year which we had been looking forward to for a long time! We set off to the beautiful East coast of Fife to capture Nikki and Sandy's wedding which was held at the stunning St Monans church and then onto Nikki's home farm from where she runs her awesome farm shop. It was a braw day.
Doing this job we tend to get a lot of 'life jealousy'. Lucy, an accessories designer & Martin, advertising man, had such an amazingly warm, funny and super stylin' wedding that we kind of wanted to squeeze them and steal their wee boy Bobby (who spent the whole day oogling pretty ladies, without a care in the world).
Kind of speaks for itself. One hour, a crazy background, a little direction from us and some willing guests makes for some hilarious pictures. Especially good for capturing evening guests, very drunk guests and the nutters at the wedding. Also makes for a great guest page in your wedding album.
Some weddings personify what a marriage is all about. It's a different story for every couple but flying from N.Z to the furthest corner of the world, to stay in a perfect little cottage & to marry on the wildest, windiest day on the edge of a cliff sure did it for these guys. To say it was an honour to capture these images doesn't really sum it up. Once the dark had fallen & we all dried off, Crear made the four of us a beautiful roast & over a bottle of red & some supremely buttery local cheese we bonded a lovely friendship.
